It's Time We Talked About Tea

Moroccan mint tea

Welcome! We thought it was time to give tea a little love. We've spent a lot of time talking about coffee around here, but tea deserves its moment — and honestly, it's long overdue.

Right now I'm sitting here with a mug of Moroccan mint, and the best way I can describe it is like someone dropped a fresh mint leaf straight into hot water. Simple, clean, and completely refreshing.

Tea has been around for thousands of years. The story goes that it was discovered in China around 2737 BC when leaves from a wild tree drifted into Emperor Shen Nong's boiling water. From there it spread across Asia, made its way along trade routes to the Middle East and Europe, and eventually became one of the most consumed beverages on the planet. Every culture it touched made it their own, from the elaborate Japanese tea ceremony to the strong, sweet glasses of mint tea poured tableside in Morocco. That kind of staying power says something.

Part of what keeps people coming back is how good tea actually is for you. It's naturally rich in antioxidants, particularly a group called catechins, which help protect your cells from everyday wear. Green and white teas tend to have the highest concentrations, but most teas offer some benefit. Regular tea drinkers often report better focus without the jitteriness that can come with coffee, thanks to a compound called L-theanine that works alongside caffeine to keep things smooth and steady. There's also solid research linking tea to heart health, improved digestion, and a stronger immune system. And of course, the simple act of sitting down with a warm cup has its own kind of therapeutic value that no study really needs to confirm.

That's what we love about tea. The variety is endless, and every cup brings something different. Whether you're in the mood for something bold and warming or light and floral, there's always a tea for the moment. It's one of those drinks that just slows you down in the best way.

We carry a range of teas worth exploring. If you like something fruity and vibrant, Hibiscus Berry Tea and Peach Paradise are great starting points. For something more classic, English Breakfast and Earl Grey are always reliable. Feeling adventurous? Hojicha, Masala Chai, and Jasmine each bring their own personality to the cup. And if you haven't tried Matcha or Apple Cider Rooibos yet, those are worth a look too.

However you take it, tea is one of those small daily rituals that's worth doing right. We hope you find your favorite.
